Ford Ranger / Ford Raptor Next Gen 2022+ high pick-up bed rack set

The installation of the structure does not require drilling holes. The structure is mounted in the grooves of the roller shutter, in an exceptionally easy and intuitive way. There is no need to give up the roller shutter, dismantle it and the entire structure fits perfectly with the standard fairing behind the cabin.

The angle of the feet has been selected so that the structure not only does not interfere with the fairing behind the cabin, but also allows for the possibility of expanding with additional elements. Additionally, the height and length have been properly thought out and designed. In the case of mounting a roof tent protruding above the car cabin, we will bypass the antenna and the tent will have the appropriately distributed support points.

The bodywork is dedicated to the Ford Ranger and Ford Ranger Raptor Next Gen 2022+ with a roller blind, both with and without a fairing behind the cabin.

The structure is made entirely of stainless steel using cold bending technology, without welding. Smooth lines, no visible joints and a modern, minimalist look make this type of bodywork fit perfectly with the body of the car. The lack of welds translates into higher strength and durability of the structure.

After installing the bed rack type structure, we can easily dismantle it, leaving only the fastening elements that fit into the roller shutter groove. Thanks to this solution, the vehicle does not lose its properties of transporting oversized loads on the bed.

The structure can be expanded with additional modules. Additional elements include side shelves, mounting brackets for boxes, crossbars and beams. Additional elements are selected from the list by checking the options before adding the product to the basket.

Additionally, we can choose roller shutter reinforcement mounted under standard holes. The roller shutter reinforcement is also made of stainless steel, suitably profiled to bypass the lighting of the box and allow free access to the sockets.

Each part of the bed rack is drilled to ensure full functionality , the possibility of mounting external lighting, holders for accessories and equipment.

Cold bending steel - how does it work?

Cold bending is a process in which steel is formed under pressure, but without being heated to temperatures where it becomes plastic (as is the case with welding or hot bending). This allows the steel to retain its original physical properties, meaning it is stronger and more durable than welded structures.

Why is the lack of welds an advantage?

Most steel structures require welding, which, although effective, locally weakens the material structure. Connection points can become more susceptible to corrosion and mechanical damage. In the case of a cold-formed structure, there are no such weak points. Additionally, the lack of visible welds makes the whole thing look exceptionally effective and modern.

Why steel and not aluminum

Steel, especially cold-bent, is characterized by high resistance to mechanical loads and stresses. Cold bending additionally increases its hardness and resistance to deformation. Thanks to this, this material is perfect for applications requiring high load-bearing capacity, when assembling heavy equipment (roof tents, heavy tools) or when transporting heavy loads.

Aluminum is lighter, but not as strong as steel. While modern aluminum alloys can offer high strength, steel remains the better choice if you plan to carry heavier loads. Aluminum has a greater tendency to deform under heavy loads, during intensive use in difficult terrain, and has a lower fatigue strength.
